SUITES:
Starr Pet Resort offers deluxe suites for your feline friend. Our cat suites are 3′ x 3′ and 6′ tall, with multiple levels for your cat to climb, play, or take a nap on. Suites are large enough to accommodate multiple cat households. There is plenty of room for your cats to keep each other company, play, or even stretch out, as well as to relax in their own space.
BEDDING:
Starr Pet Resort will provide a soft, warm rug for your cat to rest on. You are more than welcome to bring a bedding article or even a piece of clothing with your smell on it. Feel free to also bring cat toys. Please make sure that any items brought will not be missed if they are damaged or lost.
FOOD:
Starr Pet Resort recommends that you provide us with your pet’s usual food. (we do not provide canned food).
We recommend that you limit the amount of food you give your cat on the day it comes to stay with us since some cats are easily stressed. Likewise, you should limit the amount of food and water given to your cat for the first hour or two after it arrives home. This will allow your cat plenty of time to settle down before feeding.
VACCINATIONS:
Your cat’s health is of the utmost importance to us at Starr Pet Resort. That is why we require all cats be current on the following vaccinations:
- FVCRP
- Rabies
All cats must be in good physical health (without illness 30 days prior to boarding). We will accept titers with proper documentation.
A LA CARTE ACTIVITIES:
- Play Time: A 15 minute one-on-one session with an activities counselor, including chasing a cat teaser, chase the mouse, and a laser light chase.
- TLC: A 15 minute one-on-one session with an activities counselor in our comfy rocking chair. Lots of purring and scratching guaranteed.
- Nature Walk: For those cats who enjoy the outdoors, we offer a 15 minute stroll on our four acres in a “Kitty SUV” where they will see birds, lizards, rabbits, and soak up some sun and fresh country air.
